What “secure” means on an exchange account

There is no security settings page on BetPro Exchange. No two-factor login, no login alerts, no device list. 6. Install the app only from the official download page. Deny any build that asks for SMS, contacts or accessibility permissions.
7. Deposit only to a number confirmed in this conversation. Numbers rotate; public numbers are copied within hours.
8. Withdraw only to your own wallet. The rule that protects you — do not ask the desk to bend it for a relative.
9. Keep the balance you are not betting this week in your wallet. Forty minutes to withdraw, five to redeposit, nothing to lose.
10. Log out on shared PCs and never let a shared browser save the password.
11. Register on your own mobile number and keep that number alive — it is your recovery identity.
12. Read the statement monthly. An unfamiliar settlement is the earliest sign of a shared or stolen login.

The five threats, and which habit stops each

Nothing in the table requires technical skill to defeat. Every stolen account the desk has seen came through one of these five, and every one of the five is closed by a habit on the list.

What the platform lacks, and what the desk adds

No two-factor authentication. Username and password are the whole login. The identity layer is the desk’s: a password reset, a limit change or a registered-number update happens only on request from your registered mobile number, after a check against your username and deposit history.

No login alerts. You will not be told about a login from a new device. The statement and My Bets are your alerts — an unfamiliar settlement means someone else placed it.

No self-service payout changes. You cannot add a payout wallet in a settings screen. That is a feature: the same-name rule is enforced by a person, every time, and cannot be changed by whoever holds your password.

What we will never ask for

Your password. An OTP. Any document, photo or selfie. A “verification”, “tax” or “unlock” payment. A deposit to a number not confirmed in your chat. Remote access to your phone. A message asking for any of these is not from the desk, whatever name it uses. The desk also never messages first: every conversation starts with you.

A monthly security routine

Ten minutes on the first of the month:

• Confirm the app opens and logs in; if it shows a blank page, reinstall from the official download page before a match night.
• Confirm the link the desk last sent still loads.
• Log out of any PC you used.
• Read the statement for the month; tick settlements against bets you remember.
• If anything is unfamiliar, change the password and tell the desk — before you deposit again.

Incident response: the first ten minutes

If you see a login, bet or message you did not make:

1. Change the password from the dashboard, if you can log in. If you cannot, go to step 2 immediately.
2. Message the desk from your registered number: “Possible stolen login, username X.” The desk holds any pending withdrawal and watches the account.
3. Check the statement for settlements you did not place and note them.
4. Check your wallet for deposits you did not make — a thief sometimes deposits to build trust before asking you to “withdraw to their wallet”.
5. Reinstall the app from the official download page and stop using any link you did not get from the desk.

Because withdrawals go only to your wallet, the thief’s options are limited to placing bets with your balance. Speed limits that to minutes.

Password rules that actually matter

Length beats complexity: twelve characters you can remember beat eight you cannot. Never the same as your wallet PIN or your email password. Never written in the WhatsApp chat where you received the first one — delete that message after changing it. And after any desk reset, change the temporary password the same day; a temporary password that lives for a month is a shared one.

The app and security

The genuine app is the website in a wrapper and asks for network permission only. It is not on any store, which removes the store’s check — so the source is the whole question.
